Meghan Markle always had style, but she became a big trendsetter when she joined the royal family. Everyone’s trying to copy her style and dress like her. And one of those people is the first lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump.
People started to notice that many of Melania’s outfits are similar to Meghan’s. We don’t know for sure if she really is copying Meghan, but we are going to show you show the similarity.
Styles designed by Roland Mouret
Melania was on an official tour in Great Britain on July 11, 2018, and she wore a cocktail dress designed by Roland Mouret, which you can find at Saks Fifth Avenue for $1,365. The dress has similar neckline, color and even the cut like the dress Meghan wore a few days before on a tour of Ireland. And yes, the dresses are from the same designer.
Belted monochrome look
Meghan has a signature color, and its blush pink. She wore a beautiful blush pink, belted dress designed by Prada, while she attended the Queen’s Young Leaders award ceremony at Buckingham Palace. She also had a small black bag also by Prada, paired with pointed-toe black pumps by Aquazzura.
Melania Trump was invited for tea with Queen Elizabeth the next month, and she wore something pretty similar. She had a two-piece suit, a pencil skirt, and an asymmetrical jacket. The suit was light colored, and she paired it with pointed-toe pumps, the outfit was very similar in style to the one Meghan had.
Trench coat dress
Melania is not a copy-cat all the time. When she was stepping off the Air Force One, in Brussels, Belgium on July 10, 2018, she wore a trench coat designed by Burberry, worth $1,995.
Only seven days later, Meghan wore a sleeveless trench coat dress, designed by Canadian brand House of Nonie, and worth $825. Her trench coat was in her signature blush pink color.
Both looks were amazing, and both Melania and Meghan looked astonishing in them. We can say for sure is Melania trying to copy Meghan Markle’s style, but we can say that both of them have great and stylish looks.
