DON’T: Compete With Yourself For Outfit Control
If you’re going to wear obnoxious printed leggings, then keep the rest of the outfit toned down. Do not do what Katie Price (aka Jordan) is doing here.
DO: Play With Layers
Denise Van Outen pairs a shrunken leather jacket with an oversized blouse and leggings to give her outfit proportion.
DON’T: Go Too Clingy On Top
Kat Von D. does a tight-all-over thing, and it’s not flattering at all.
DO: Pair With Tall Boots
Sarah Harding has great proportions by pairing her leggings with tall loose-calf riding boots.
DON’T: Wear Your Patriotism On Your Leggings
Just, like, don’t do this, okay? Buy a flag pin or something.
DO: Go Mega Oversized Up Top
Olivia Palermo knows that her legs look teeny-tiny because she’s wearing leggings with a cozy coat.
DO: Wear Leggings To The Gym
I mean, Brenda Song knows that obviously they’re perfect for yoga class.
DON’T: Pair Leggings With A Crop Top
In my estimation, leggings should always be worn with your crotch area covered. Because I don’t want to have to possibly look at your labial folds, okay?
