You might not think of China as a place of adventure and thrill-seeking. But did you know that China is home to the world’s second-highest bungee jump, at 233 meters (764 ft) high? Even if bungee jumping is not your thing, you can still soar to great heights in China by visiting the Hanging Monastery or brave the bridge of immortals in the Huang Mountains that has been described as “death-defying.”
Some of the activities you can experience in China include Bungee jumping, hiking, cliff walks, and a taste of weird cuisine like scorpions on a stick.
If you are a thrill seeker who loves the water, then Thailand is the best TEFL destination to choose from. Be sure to pack your favorite sports shoes, a swimsuit, goggles, and even a flipper. The Land of Smiles offers a lot of water-based adventure activities including white water rafting along the Pai River on the border with Myanmar. If a whirlwind river experience is not for you, you can go cliff diving on the nearby waterfalls or visit the numerous hot springs in the area.
