Readers beware: you’re now entering TMI territory. I’m currently the world’s most uncomfortable, unpleasant and unbearable blogger. As we speak, Aunt Flow is performing a Vine-worthy Nae Nae all up on my uterus. Yes, folks, it’s that time of the month. Here’s the rundown of feels thus far: I’ve sent about six overly-emotional texts to a Tinder guy, stifled tears at my internship twice, yelled at my sister a good 16 times and consumed five Trefoils.
The fact that it’s raining doesn’t help one bit. Yep, periods are awful. I’m probably – okay, definitely – exaggerating, but it feels like the older I get, the worse it is every month. I used to be able to deal with my cramps like a champ. Now I can barely muster up the strength to get out of bed when they happen. But fret not, dear Candy Girls. I’m a survivor. I’ve basically used the same methods to get over my period probz for a good 14 years, and hopefully this month’s solutions will help.
