Bradley Cooper is a very talented actor, and recently we found out about his amazing singing abilities when we saw A Star Is Born. He and his mother, Gloria Campano have a wonderful, but a weird relationship and the two became extremely close after his father passed away in 2011.

Lining with his mom
After the death of his father in 2011, Cooper invited his mother to live with him in LA. “My family is very close, and my dad dying was brutal for all of us. It was a schism, and its aftershock has not stopped. And we need each other. So here we are … it’s not like I live in a compound and she’s in the guesthouse. No, she’s in the next room. But here’s the thing: she’s a cool chick. We can hang, and she can roll with the punches,” revealed the actor to Details.

Campano often accompanied Cooper to various red carpet event. The two appeared together at the 2013 Academy Awards, where Cooper was nominated for his role in Silver Linings Playbook, at the 2015 Tony Awards and most recently, at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Wedding band
Before The Hangover Part II, Cooper moved in with his parent to take care of his father, Charles Cooper, who suffered from terminal lung cancer. “It’s a new reality,” he shared with Independent. “Everything, everything. It’s not even one thing, it’s a whole new world. And it was instantaneous. It wasn’t like, months later. It was like, his last exhale, and I was holding him, and it was like, everything changed.” After his father passed away, he started wearing his wedding band as a “tribute” to his mother’s strong marriage.

Working together
Cooper shared with E! News that his mother worked with him while he was filming Joy. “She actually was a consultant for [Director] David [O. Russell] on the movie when he was conceiving it because she’s a huge disciple of QVC.”

Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper have been very secretive about their relationship in the past, and with his recent collaboration and friendship with Lady Gaga, tabloids are trying desperately to link the two together, especially now that Lady Gaga is single.

However, Lady Gaga is not the main target or the media, regarding Cooper’s relationship with Shayk. The Sun reported in 2016 how Shayk and Cooper broke up after his mom came for the Christmas holidays. But, those could be just rumors, since E! News stated how Shayk and Campano are actually “extremely close.”
Meeting mom
After three months of dating, Cooper brought Shayk with him to meet his mom. Hello! reported that Cooper introduced the two ladies in August 2015 and that they bonded “over a hearty dinner.” Shayk and Campano are often seen hanging out together.

Meddling in the relationship
Every mother wants what is best for her child, and she can often be accused of meddling and interfering in their lives. But she is only there to give you her opinion and share a piece of advice, or two. That is the case with Campano. When the actor was dating Zoe Saldana, his mom was the one who told him that getting back together with her isn’t such a good idea. “When Zoe and Bradley started talking to one another again, she told Bradley that their relationship failed twice already, what’s the point of going through all of that again?” a source shared.
