Brooks Ayers, the slime ball (ex) boyfriend of “Real Housewives of Orange County”‘s Vicki Gunvalson, has ‘fessed up to falsifying medical records he said proved he had received chemotherapy for stage-4 cancer. Doubts about Ayers’ condition made up the bulk of plot for this most recent season of “RHOC,” with Vicki shrieking “HE’S FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE!!!” during every goddamn episode, and her fellow Housewives expressing MAJOR doubts. The amazing thing is, even after being busted in this massive lie, Ayers is still maintaining that he does have cancer. In his statement to E! News, Ayers says:

“Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to ‘prove’ to the world that I, in fact, have cancer. What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone, without Vicki [Gunvalson]’s knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest. I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren’t true simply for a ‘storyline’ for the show. From this day forward, my own personal journey with this disease will remain private as I initially intended over a year ago. My sincerest apologies to my family, friends, loved ones, and those who are battling this horrid disease for any additional pain and/or stress that I have caused.”
Don’t you see? Brooks was bullied into falsifying those documents! He only lied so that we would believe he wasn’t lying! He only lied for the sake of maintaining the show’s storyline about him being a liar! And now that he’s admitted he’s a liar, we should obviously put aside our doubts that someone who lied about one thing is probably lying about another, and believe he’s telling the truth. About the cancer. Not the chemo. That’s a lie. The cancer is true though, he swears. You believe him right?
