Every website can be affected by this virus, even Facebook. When you open the Facebook page in your browser, a fake login page will pop up prompting you to enter your data. You may think that is a legit Facebook page since the virus will imitate it perfectly, however you may become the victim of this virus and all your data will be stolen. This page will overlay the authentic page so you probably won’t be able to tell the difference. The main difference that can help you realize that it is a fraud is that your browser will open an additional window instead of a new tab as it usually does. Cybersecurity analyst warns us to always ask ourselves why is the page asking you to log in again and shouldn’t you already be logged in Facebook or any other platform you use.
