Researchers from Stanford and the University of California have done us all a favor and figured out what to say and what not to say on a first date. Legends. To carry out their study, the researchers ran and recorded free speed-dating events for heterosexual grad students. After the date, the students reported how well they “clicked” with their partners for roughly a 1,000 four-minute conversations.
