Is there a reason why Meghan and Harry deleted a photo from Instagram?

Due to the split of the royal houses, Meghan and Harry have been having their own Instagram account where they post the latest updates about them. But, the fans now look at it closer and they have noticed that something wrong happened on it which was corrected later on.

Breaking records

From the moment they launched their account, the fans have been gone crazy about it and it gets thousands of followers every day. It is noticeable that their account is simply breaking records. For example, their account is the first one that got 1 million followers in the fastest period of time since only 5 hours and 45 minutes were enough to accomplish this. The record has been previously held by Kang Daniel who needed 11 hours and 36 hours for this in January this year.

Fans

Thousands of fans have been monitoring and checking that account every day to see what Meghan and Harry are up to, or what they are doing. Even though many people simply have a quick look at it, there have been some people who noticed that one particular photo has been posted and then deleted.

The Duke of Sussex has proudly been patron of UK based organization Well Child since 2007. Over 100,000 children and young people are living with serious illness or exceptional health needs across the UK. Many spend months, even years in hospital vs at home because there is no support enabling them to leave. Well Child’s vision is for every child and young person living with serious health needs to have the best chance to thrive properly supported at home with their families. Which one?

We are talking about a post on Instagram that included a picture that displayed a face of Nelson Mandela and there was also his quote included. This one was deleted due to the fact that the entire face of Nelson Mandala could not been seen since one part has been cut. This one was deleted and a new one was reposted and it included the entire face and the same quote of Nelson Mandela.

Why?

This has been noticed first by Gerts’s Royals, an account on Twitter. Let’s just mention that the quote that goes along with the picture says the following: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

It should be also mentioned that both Meghan and Harry are great fans of Nelson Mandela and the work he did during his lifetime. They respect and believe everything he was fighting for. It should be mentioned that Harry met Graca Machel in 2015, who is Mandela’s widow, when he opened an exhibition dedicated to her husband in July that year.

After serving in the @BritishArmy for ten years, The Duke of Sussex has committed himself to promoting the welfare of members of the Armed Forces and veterans. The Duke knows the lasting effects military service can have, as soldiers recover from PTS after battle or struggle to get back into the normalities of civilian life. Through his work with servicemen and women, The Duke has also seen how families benefit from extra support when their loved ones are away and adjusting to life back home. He met many soldiers and their families at the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch in London today. This is an annual event which raises money for @soldierscharity to support those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Duke’s work with wounded servicemen and women has included creating @weareinvictusgames, volunteering with the Army’s Personnel Recovery Unit in London, trekking with wounded servicemen and women to the South Pole and in the Arctic and supporting a number of adventure challenges through his Endeavour Fund. The Duchess of Sussex was unfortunately unable to attend today, but has joined her husband in supporting the troops at the Invictus Games, Endeavour Fund and with the TILS Fund, as an extension of her previous work in this space. By participating in events like today’s, The Duke hopes that servicemen and women are recognised for their unique skill set and abilities, and that we all work together to ensure that they and their families have the support they need and deserve during and after service.
