Ever since the show started, AMC’s The Walking Dead has had an endless number of people dying. Zombies await at every corner, and dangerous human beings are even more hazardous. It’s the end of the world, in which the characters are always fighting for their lives.
Unlike every show, in which your lead characters are more than sure to outlive the others, The Walking Dead is not that type of the show. No one is safe.
One could say that The Walking Dead is murdering more of it lead roles than the HBO’s Game of Thrones, but that’s debatable.
Season 9 has begun and we already lost Gregory (not surprising), and Ken.
Everyone’s lives are at stake. Who is going to end up alive until the end of the season, who is going to survive the danger of walkers and the Whisperers? Well, so far we can take a few guesses.
Attention: Even though the show doesn’t always go according to Robert Kirkman’s graphic novels, it still tries to copy it (Gregory ended up the same in the show as he did in the novels).
If you don’t want the show to be ruined for you, you should stop reading now.
Andrew Lincoln is walking out of The Walking Dead, which means that his character, Rick Grimes, simply has to die. The one character everybody was sure about not dying was Carl Grimes. Well, look how that ended. It was a complete surprise when Scott Gimple wiped him off. But then you think, at least Rick Grimes will stay safe and sound.
He won’t. With Andrew’s decision to go, his character also has to go. Even though fans are longing for the story to develop in the manner in which Rick somehow doesn’t die, that is probably not going to be the case, and we are left to anticipate the final hours of Rick Grimes.
