According to The Sun, their business is on the edge of bankruptcy, as they had to let go 3 of their employees, and according to the outlet, the fourth one is about to be fired. It remains to be seen if the family can get out of this financial problem they have found themselves in.

Carol and Michael met while working for British Airways. Carol was a stewardess, and Michael was a flight dispatcher. They got married in 1980, and they have three children together, James, Kate, and Pipa. Their idea for business stated when Carol started selling bags and decorations for children’s birthday parties.

Since 2005, Carol and Michael Middleton started investing in real estate. They own a few commercial buildings worth around 1,75 million dollars. Michael also inherited a fortune from his father in 2010, which was split amongst Michael and his three brothers.
