The way the British Royal family is going to be celebrating Easter different from how they did it until lat year. There are many reasons for that.
The typical Easter celebration for the members of the Royal Family – Prince Charles and his wife Duchess Camilla, Prince Harry and William and their wives Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton and of course the Queen and Prince Philip is an outing to the service that is held in the St. George’s chapel in Windsor. That is the same chapel where the wedding of Duke and Duchess of Sussex was held last year on Easter.
Before Easter comes up the royal go around the country and go to different cathedrals. This is because of the Maundy Money tradition. Another part of it is when the Queen gives out 80 coins to women and men.
This year though, the Queen’s birthday and Easter Sunday are overlaping, could this mean they will change their plans?
Her usual celebration of her day is the second Saturday of June which is called Trooping the Colour, but will she do something for this weekend?
Another thing that might change the plans of the royals is the new royal baby. Meghan will be giving birth any moment now so they might choose not to come to the Sunday service.
A lot of things are happening in the Royal family around this time!
