Best Tech That Comes Out in 2023

by Petar Mikonoss December 16, 2019

One of the greatest things about technology is that it never stops evolving the same way as us humans. However, the difference between humans and technology is that we cannot control our evolution and it takes thousands of years just to see one change in our genes. While technology evolves the way we want it too. We are the ones who shape its development path, we are those who decide what is useful and what not. So, thanks to the brilliant minds on this planet, we now see new tech and gadgets that come out every single year, so what should we expect from the year 2023?

It seems that these last couple of years we cannot predict what is going to be the next technological trend since everything is evolving at such a fast pace, so we can’t really tell you what is truly going to be the biggest trend in 2023, but we could at least guess with the information we have gathered.

You might ask yourself, why are these kinds of predictions important? If you are a “tech” nerd just like us, then it is probably an important part of your life that you always keep up with everything new that is related to technology. Your job might depend on a high-end phone, or maybe on a very powerful computer, so you will need to know about the latest processors. You might have an invention yourself, so you want to make sure that the market you are trying to conquer is still free. There might hundreds of reasons why you need to keep up with the advancement of high tech, but we are here to guess about the best tech in 2023, not about your needs.

1. Artificial Intelligence or AI

Even since the 1940s, after Alan Turing‘s theory of simulation that a computer, if properly programmed, can be made to simulate any kind of process, the idea of artificial intelligence has been a very interesting topic. There have been different AI systems built on many occasions, one more successful while others a complete failure.

However, these last couple of years we have seen changes in artificial intelligence, but it is still in heavy development. This development is something that can make our daily lives much easier by using it to handle difficult tasks which might be impossible or too hard for humans.

The term artificial intelligence explains itself. It is a way to artificially create human intelligence. By using powerful computer systems and with the right programming, it will be able to mimic what humans are able to do. These last couple of years we have developed AI to a level where it can handle multi-tasking at a much faster rate than an average person.

Here’s the catch, you are actually using some type of AI right now and I’m using one too while writing this article. Weird, huh? Almost every computer has some kind of artificial intelligence that is used to handle the various tasks we do on it. When using Google search, Google uses the knowledge of your previous search history to give you the best possible results. When using GPS navigations on your phone, the brain of your phone calculates the best ways you can get from point A to point B. There are millions of other occasions when you come into contact with such technology.

Another interesting thing about artificial intelligence is that there are already a few of them made that can completely mimic the way people speak. If you were to sit down on a computer with two chat windows, one being a bot and the other a human being, you will probably have no idea which one is the computer. It has come to a level so developed that a computer is able to easily beat the best chess players in the world.

So, why is this so important for the next year? Well, we can’t really say that AI will stagnate or evolve to a much higher level, but we do know that there is a very high possibility that it becomes something that we cannot live without. If we expect a future where we can use a lot less energy, manpower and save money then this technology is vital.

2. 5G connectivity

You probably remember the day when we all finally received 4G network connection and were surprised by the amazing speeds that reach 60mbp/s. Well, fortunately, that is about to change to. The time has come for us to transfer to a new type of wireless technology that is called 5G. Unexpected name, right? While the name might not be so innovative, this type of connectivity definitely is. When 5G finally becomes available to the world, we will be able to see speeds that deliver 1,000 Mbit/s or in other words, “super fast” speed.

There are a couple of cities around the world today that support 5G connections, so you might be wondering why this is such an important part of 2023?

Well, as with every bleeding-edge technology there is some kind of a catch. The problem with 5G is that it is still in its very early development stages and it is still quite expensive to deliver the equipment worldwide. Not only that, but the coverage is awful too. While 4G antennas could grant coverage of a couple of kilometers without the signal ever dropping because of obstacles such as building or trees, the 5G network has a problem delivering a good signal after a few hundred meters. But, we did say it is still in its infancy, which means that in 2023 we might see a huge improvement. According to boxertechnology, it is very important that we constantly keep up with new technology so that we can always be better equipped than our competition.

3. Virtual reality

This might not be something that completely changes the way we live our lives, but it is surely one of the most advanced ways of entertainment these days. Today we see VR videos, movies, and games that can deliver an experience like never before which is why it deserves a place on this list.

While VR is in great shape today and there are several products that come with a great price and quality, there are still a few things that need to be ironed out. In 2023, we expect VR to be perfected and to become something that you can find in every home.
