After seeing her daughter marrying a prince, it seems that it is now Doria Ragland’s turn for some romance and happiness. She was recently spotted being very friendly with an unknown man and sources close to her say that they may have become an item.
“He was opening doors for her and was very attentive,” one of the people who saw them says. “He had a big smile on his face when he was with her – they looked like they were a couple.”
Doria was sporting a diamond ring on her finger, further fueling speculations that she may already be engaged.
“Doria has always been independent, but of course she would love to find the perfect partner – and it looks like that may have already happened!” an insider said.
Duchess Meghan has always had a very close relationship with her mother, a fact she often points out.
“For me to watch this level of lifelong sensitivity to nurturing and caregiving, but at the same time my mum has always been a free spirit,” Meghan said. “She’s got dreadlocks and a nose ring. She just ran the LA Marathon. We can just have so much fun together, and yet, I’ll still find so much solace in her support.”
Doria is in for more good news, as in few months she will become a grandma to Meghan and Harry’s child, something she is looking forward to. She was even mentioned in a Palace statement issued over Meghan’s pregnancy.
“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” the statement said.
Frogmore Cottage in Windsor is currently being renovated for the young couple and there will certainly be a room for the 62-years old grandma in it when she comes for a visit.
