Last week, I wrote an article about how it’s not exactly proper etiquette to leave a rude note instead of a tip when one goes out to eat. However, it appears Jason Paul Naglich of Redondo Beach, California, didn’t read it.
After eating out at the Bamboo Thai Bistro, Naglich refused to tip his waitress and instead left a note reading “Tip For U.S. Citizens Only!” What a charmer!
Unfortunately for Naglich, his waitress was friends with YouTube personality Gina Darling, who shared a copy of the tip with her many, many followers. Along with his name, which I love. Because hey–if you don’t want to be associated with writing terrible racist shit, don’t put it on a receipt with your name on it! He has no one to blame but himself.

I think it is fair to say that if you are a weird racist who objects to being waited on by people you suspect may not be U.S. Citizens, that you should probably just stay home. Or hey! Notify the hostess beforehand of your situation when making your reservations in the first place. Certainly, whoever is serving you should know of your dietary and human restrictions beforehand, and either be able to provide you with a birth certificate or spit in your soup.
It probably won’t be too long before Jason Paul Naglich is identified, being that this is the internet, and I’m sure he’ll have a really good time at restaurants in the future.
