Working for livelihood is indeed a necessity to everyone. It is as important just like our basic needs because it is where we get those wages and benefits to pay bills. We spend a good amount of time in our life in our workplace. So, it’s important for us to ensure a healthy working environment.

One of the most common effects of being a workaholic is experiencing chronic back and neck pain which leads to stress, anxiety and finally depression. Once you have neck and back pain, it may create a chain reaction. It will affect your work productivity, attitude, health, and mood as well.

If you are experiencing chronic pain, you will know how difficult and challenging your day to day work life can be. It would be hard for you to focus, work and even submit those deadlines on time and most importantly, it would be a little hard for you to cope up with your personal needs and demands. In addition to that, your work can become even more stressful and tiring. So, you would also need to consider working in a good environment and pain-free workplace.

Today, most of the customer service jobs need employees to work up to 40hrs a week facing a computer and answering phone simultaneously which can cause severe back and neck pain. But technology nowadays has evolved and there are already some basic cures that can help employees have a pain free workplace. These will somehow help you manage your work so you can ease pain and breathe a little from a lot of stress from day to day basis.

These basic cures that I am talking about are not about spending too much money for a certain treatment or medicines but cures that would start from the workplace itself. Let me give you some basic approach on how you can make your workplace pain free.

Physical

Exercise and good sleep are the keys to having a well-balanced life. It will definitely start with you. Take a little break in between long work hours to stretch and walk. Those little movements will help those joints and muscles working as well. Aside from that, having a proper diet will keep you healthy in different ways and these will greatly affect your work mood as well.

Mental

Therapy is one of the basic cures as well for having a pain free workplace. Make time to relax and meditate. Good music can counter those negative vibes. This will help you concentrate and focus on what needs to be done, and I am telling you, this will help you submit those work on a given time.

In line with these, switching to more ergonomic equipment in the workplace will help employees to have a better and comfortable working environment. For example, using a headphone instead of a traditional phone is a great solution to reduce neck pain.

Plantronics Cisco phone and headsets are the most popular phone headset nowadays and are suitable for safety and convenience at any workplace which is very common to several customer service companies nowadays. Many businesses are using Plantronics Cisco phones and headsets already just because it is one of the easiest and most reliable phones to use and most importantly it reduces neck and back pain of its users.

If you want to know the types of phones and headphones Plantronics have, you can visit Hedsetplus.com as there are tons of models to choose from.

Well then, work hard but make sure you are using the right tools in the workplace. Make yourself free and manage your pain and stress. After all, working in a pain-free workplace where you can find ease and convenience is better than dealing with tons of stress and anxiety.
