Kate Middleton is known for her good taste in clothes and she is a high fashion icon. We always love the colours, dresses and hats she is choosing for occasions, but sometimes she surprises us with something new.
On Sunday, the Duchess was attending a service with her husband at a church in Sandringham and she was looking stunning. Kate was wearing a cobalt blue coat by Catherine Walker, navy Jimmy Choo high heels and a matching bright blue, bow headband by Jane Taylor. Her hair looked different than before. She let her hair down, having a headband perching it up. She mostly has her hair up in a bun, or her band is let behind, but this time she had all of her hair perched up.
She wore headbands three times in 2018. On Christmas Day she wore a red headband paired with the red coat, a red Bayswater clutch by Mulberry and a pair of Gianvito Rossi heels. The band was made from maroon velvet and had a unique black ribbon back. It was made by Jane Taylor and it was £830.
For Prince Luis Christening, Kate was wearing a white Alexander McQueen dress and white headband. She lifted her hair in a beautiful low bun. This headband was also Jane Taylor.
For Sophie Carter’s wedding, Kate was wearing a blue floral headband. She paired it with blue Catherine Walker coat with a lace dress underneath. Kate is definitely a fan of headbands and we are sure we will see more of them on the Duchess’ head this year.
