Where?

It is true, and it has become a growing trend in the USA hat people are thinking and actually buying palm trees. Of course, they do not do that in Florida or California, places where palm trees are present and can be easily found. This trend is becoming more and more popular in the North of the USA, to be more precise, in New York City and Tri-State area.

Why?

You may wonder why someone would want to buy a tree in the North of the USA when it is not cultivated there. Well, there are numerous reasons, and, we need to be honest, all of them are reasonable ones. First of all, some people buy palm trees so that they would decorate yards around their houses so that they would have the sense and feeling of tropic enjoyment or simply because they like the look of palm trees. So, there are more and more agencies that offer palm trees for sale in this area. Most of the palm trees are delivered and obtained from Florida, i.e., Miami area. Apart from private residences, a lot of restaurants, hotels and other similar facilities use palm trees so that they can make their space and ambient more pleasing and relaxing.

How?

Most of the deliveries are done from May to October which is a good time and favorable weather for palm trees. If you decide to get one, you would also need adequate space so that a plant can survive there. If you actually do not want to buy a palm tree, you can easily rent one in the following areas: Long Island, NYC, CT, MS, and the entire Tri-State area. They are usually rent for parties and some special events, like weddings, etc. so that they make a more pleasant atmosphere. There are various ways of using a rented palm tree, a pool party is one of them. And, after the rental period is done, they are returned back to the rental company in the condition that they were delivered.

Conclusion

Some people think that palm trees can be grown only in the South of Florida since they can survive only in hot weather conditions. Actually, this is not true since there are various types of palm trees and some of them are more resistant than others. Some of them can be even grown as north as New England. Some of those trees are cold hardy palm trees that can survive literally anywhere. The delivery is done with them already planted and protected, sometimes it is possible to reserve a tree and get it delivered during spring or summer if you are not OK with it being delivered to you in winter or late fall.
