One thing that all athletes and trainees want is to take their training to the next level. Or the so-called “beast mode”. In order to do that, we need to make sure that our diet is on point. And this can be done by eating properly or using various dietary supplements. In this article, we’re covering how to take your training to the next level.
Motivation
In order to enter the “beast mode,” you need to be really motivated about your training session. People should always find motivation within themselves, but if you’re feeling really down, other things can help as well. Motivational videos, for example, are a great way to get hyped for the gym. They are often featuring one of the most successful athletes and their famous speeches. Listening to one or two before going training will do wonders in terms of “pumping you up”. Another good way is to listen to your favorite songs before exercise. They don’t always have to be aggressive songs, anything that makes you feel better will work. And the most important thing when it comes to motivation is remembering that the only person you’re competing with is you.
Dietary supplements
We mentioned supplements earlier as one of the things that can help you train harder. There are many to choose from but one of the most used ones are whey proteins, weight gainers, pre-workout formulas and the famous Energy Gel. These supplements help a lot in terms of better athletic performance, strength, gaining muscle mass and muscle recovery as well. Some even improve cognitive functions. It is well known that the diet and macro-nutrient intake is more than half of the work. It is more than possible to achieve amazing results in fitness by just eating properly, but if you don’t have the time to fully dedicate yourself and get a proper diet, supplements will do wonders.
Good rest is important
Although training hard and eating well are both insanely important, sleeping is one of the biggest factors that regulate both of these things as well. Without a proper 8 hour sleep in a dark, cold room, your body will not be able to recover from all the stress you put it through during a workout session. Also, your appetite will decrease and you will feel drowsy all day if you don’t sleep well. However, sleeping should also be done in moderation. Oversleeping is just as bad as not sleeping at all. Sleeping for too many hours will just make you feel even more tired. Moderation is the key to everything.
Water intake
Probably the most useful tip someone gave to me when it comes to training is to drink more water each day. There are countless benefits that you get to enjoy from upping your water intake. Actually, there are so many that I don’t know where to start. Detoxication, more energy, better appetite, better sleep, much “fuller” muscles, longer life and what not. Just drink more water. Your energy during your workouts will highly increase and you will be in “beast mode” in no time!
