Aim for rivers and roads

Open your parachute at a very last moment because that will give you a faster landing. You will do that if you aim for low areas such as roads or rivers.

Don’t rush for supplies

 

Don’t go for supplies immediately. Stay out of it because you will survive for longer and you can still find some good weapons in rural areas.

Gather resources early

Start by gathering your resources such as wood and brick early. Later on, you will just become an easy target.

Gather them discreetly

If you are chopping trees don’t chop them down completely because you are revealing your location, and you are becoming an easy target.

Strategize with the Storm Eye

As the game progresses, the storm eye closes, but still you will have some time to explore. Don’t rush immediately to safe zone.

Use Headphones

Just like in any other shooting game, sound is very important in Fortnite. Headphones will help you hear things you wouldn’t hear through the speakers.
