This baby girl gorilla, born on Wednesday night at the San Diego Zoo, needs to be cuddled immediately. She. Is. So. Cute!
Her 18-year-old mother went into labor but was not making any progress, so veterinarians at the zoo delivered this little cutie via a rare C-section. In no time at all, the 4.6-lb. gorilla was wearing a blue baby hat, sucking on her fingers and mugging for the cameras. Congratulations to mom and baby and to whomever got to swaddle her in a blanket and give her an oxygen mask to chew on, I hate you.
