Amazon vs. eBay – Can Fast Cash Club Help?

Amazon and eBay, next to Shopify and Aliexpress, are known to be the two biggest online selling platforms. If you want to be a successful online seller and make a significant profit, you should carefully choose which selling platform is best for you. Each has its own benefits and downsides, so it depends on your products and selling philosophy which platform better suits your needs. While you’re making a choice and looking for ways to improve your business, you should also strongly consider using Fast Cash Club.

Fast Cash Club is an e-commerce platform founded in 2018. Its purpose is to populate products on your online store by scanning other popular online stores such as Amazon or eBay and generate a list of products that you have on sale in your virtual shop. So when a buyer enters a certain product in the search bar, he/she will see products from your personal site in their search results. Thus, you get an affiliate commission if he chooses to buy from your link.

In order to maximize the income using this method, it’s recommended to know a bit about SEO and affiliate marketing. It will help you to single out your products among the others because all the other sellers who already use FCC have shops that look and work in the same way. This selling method has turned out to be very profitable for sellers who hoped to boost their revenue.

When it comes to differences between Amazon and eBay, you should know that Amazon has a bit different way of doing business. This company has its own sellers to compete with ordinary retailers, sometimes even undercutting someone’s business. If you happen to find a good product or niche and start making a profit on its potential, you can expect that Amazon sellers will step into the game. Amazon even has a list of brands and products for which you need to pay a fee for if you want to sell them. On eBay, there are no tricks like these. If you are a small seller, eBay gives you a better opportunity to establish and promote your own brand. Even though most of the products selling on eBay are new, it is also a great platform for selling used items and collectibles, although this online shop as a brand doesn’t have that public image. Amazon is recognized for selling new items, and eBay is known for being a kind of online garage sale.

Amazon has 300 million users monthly, and eBay has 167 million. But, with 25 websites comparing to Amazon’s 12, eBay is far more international. 57% of sells on eBay are from countries that are not the US, comparing to Amazon’s 33%. So the choice here is actually market dependent – you can focus on the US with Amazon, or spread out in the international market space with eBay.

There is also a difference between how these two platforms handle what comes after the purchase. Shipping, storage, packaging, distribution can be very tiring, but Amazon does everything instead of you. On the other hand, eBay lets you handle that stuff. The advantage of eBay here is that as a consequence the seller fees are lower than on Amazon. Even though eBay charges a certain PayPal rate, you keep about 5% more profits if you sell on eBay than on Amazon, but you’re on your own when it comes to handling the rest of the order process.

In conclusion, both platforms have their own characteristics, and it’s up to you to adjust your choice to the specificity of your product. Amazon is better if you are willing to pay more for having full service, if you want to sell preferably on the US market and if you’re going to sell new items and your brand is not as important to you as your sales. And don’t forget the list of restricted brands and company’s competitive sellers! eBay is better for its minimal fees, international market, selling collectible items and brands restricted on Amazon, and it doesn’t have it’s own sellers to undercut your brand and business.

We wish you luck!
