Remember our good friend Wesley who sent us an adorable hand-typed letter asking for kitten cards because he thought The Frisky was the headquarters of Friskies, the McDonald’s of cat food? How could you forget!? It was so heartwarming and kind and nice – and hopefully not an elaborately conceited troll – that we were moved to help him in his quest.
Send us your cat postcards, your kitten sympathy cards, anything and everything you have that is cat-related. Make your own if you want! Send us a Beanie Baby! Box up that lazy piece of shit cat you have laying on your bed and send her over, if you’re so inclined (please don’t do this)! We want to believe that there’s some good in this world, and taking a break from the breathy outrage and manufactured controversies to send some old man who thinks we are a cat food company is the best way to do it.
The response thus far has been lovely. We’ve received lots and lots of cat postcards and some charming, heartfelt notes. If you want to partake in this good deed and check “possibly making an old man who is confused and likes cats happy” off your list of shit to do this weekend, send your cat cards to:
Megan Reynolds, The Frisky
1412 Broadway, 22nd Floor
New York, NY 10018
If you want to get us your cat-things by, say October 15, we’ll put ‘em in the mail with a bow and a nice letter to Wesley. Let’s do good shit, guys. Send this man some cat cards.
