A presidential election, would not be an election really without absurd internet memes because that’s where we are currently as a society. It is at once insane and beautiful.
Following in this modern tradition is a new viral hashtag #BabiesForBernie which involves parents putting glasses and white wigs on their infants and uploading pictures of them to Instagram and Twitter.
However, it’s even gone so far as to inspire an entire website dedicated to the cause. It happened sort of by accident when Ashia Siegel was housebound unable to attend a Sanders rally in order to care for his kid. So she dressed up her kid to look like Bernie and voila: a meme was born.
