Do you love space? Then you’ll love this: Carl Sagan’s life is getting the Hollywood treatment, according to a new announcement from Warner Bros. Pictures. And it sounds like it’s going to be great – Sagan’s widow Ann Druyan will be producing the film, and other credits will include Courtenay Valenti, who worked on “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and “Interstellar”’s Lynda Obst and Rachel Abarbanell. Accuracy, badassery, and epic space voyage combining to tell the story of America’s most-loved astrophysicist? Yes, please.
There’s no word on a release date, but meanwhile, you can sate your science-loving heart with this awesome picture of Neil deGrasse Tyson as a grad student:
Thoughts: Great, great facial hair, Neil, and also, it seems he had a ticket to the gun show; the dude on the left looks like my brother-in-law-to-be time traveled; who is that woman giving so little fucks?[Nerdist] [Boing Boing]
