Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman are longtime friends, and some of the magazines tried to publish some made-up stories about their relationships. GossipCop got to the bottom of every false rumor that has been circulating around.
National Enquirer published a false story how Aniston was making “boozy bashes” at her house, and one of the guests was Bateman. The magazine claimed how that was her way of dealing with her break up from Justin Theroux. Aniston’s spokesperson said that the story isn’t true and that Aniston prefers attending low-key parties hosted by others. She celebrated her 49th birthday at Courtney Cox’s home.
Grazia issued in September that Aniston and Theroux’s split was “dividing Hollywood,” and Bateman was among the celebrities who were on Aniston’s side. Theroux said to New York Times, “Neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It’s amicable. It’s boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be.” This means that Bateman and others weren’t asked to pick sides.
In Touch issued in September that Aniston has required from her friend, which included Bateman, to shun Theroux in order to get his career destroyed and for Hollywood to not hire him anymore. They failed to say that Bateman’s sister, Justine Bateman is Theroux in the upcoming drama Violet, which means that he isn’t shunned from Hollywood, nor has Aniston asked for such a thing.
GossipCop busted OK! magazine’s story on how Bateman’s wife had enough of Aniston crying on Bateman’s shoulder after she ended her relationship with Theroux. The magazine claimed how Amanda Anka, Bateman’s wife was becoming fed up with Aniston’s alleged “late-night phone calls, endless texts, and overnight stays.” But that isn’t true. The two are actually close friends, and they were even seen hanging out together on numerous occasions.
Another story involving Amanda Anka was that Aniston was “hurt and jealous” because Theroux and Anka were spending time together last December, before the couple split. GossipCop got in touch with Aniston’s agent, who said that is a false story and on that day the In Touch published that story, a photo of Aniston and Theroux was posted during their vacation in Mexico with Bateman and Anka.
