What happens when gamgam teaches teens about making whoopie
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a liberal state that taught sexual education. In fact, it was included in at least two of my health classes. My teacher (who also taught drivers ed) was an awkward, somewhat timid man in his late 30s or early 40s. This was in the mid ’90s, so there wasn’t really much information on being sexually active on the internet like there is now.
I am the tail end of Generation X, but those born in the ’60s and ’70s often didn’t have the most informed parents or teachers when it came to carnal knowledge. In fact, many older adults who relied on myths instead of up-to-date textbooks and studies because they didn’t have formal sexual education either.
Here are some hilarious “facts” other people were taught in health class that are both ridiculous and potentially dangerous for the students that followed their advice.
Peens
Average penis size is 8 inches, you can imagine how that would affect self-esteem. (theissingm)
Boner Killer
Any time a boy has his hands in his pockets, he’s hiding his erection 😐
Every boy in school made sure to always have their hands on show from that day onwards! (radioactive_koala)
What year was this?!
That women don’t die during childbirth, and that was just a myth. (toxicwaste25)
