Before their wedding in May last year, Prince Harry started working with Gabriela Peacock, the founder of GP Nutrition and the royal family’s nutritional adviser, he started working out, and he started eating quinoa and kale. His sudden change to a healthy lifestyle was rather noticeable among his friends, as he wasn’t nearly as health-conscious before Meghan.
Katie Nicholl, the author of the book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love, reveals how Prince Harry’s friends reacted to his change and his interest in yoga: “We all ribbed him a bit because he suddenly got super healthy. It was obviously dating Meghan that kicked off his health drive.” Given that Meghan Markle’s mother is a yoga instructor and she alone has been practicing yoga for years. She was also the one to help Harry quit smoking.
