How important is website design for SEO?

In a world ran and operated by the internet, SEO has become one of the most important factors that determine if you will get recognized or buried under the huge pile of websites. In this article, we’re talking about the importance of SEO web design and why a business that wants to grow can’t afford to ignore this at all.

Keeping the visitors that you attract

It doesn’t matter what kind of a business you operate, your website is where you attract your customers. And it also says a lot about you and your business. If you have a messy, sluggish and non-responsive website, people will immediately close it and look someplace else, even if you’re the one with the product they need. Heck, if your website is not optimized well you might not even come up on their search results in the first place.

You should always make sure that your website is as responsive as you can possibly make it. Here’s why. Speed is a huge factor in SEO website design. Any expert in websites knows that for each additional second your website takes to load, you’re losing visitors and potential customers. You’re basically losing money if we’re being brutally honest. Statistics say that at about two seconds of load time you’re losing twelve percent of the people who clicked the link of your website. And two seconds isn’t really that slow even. Make that about four seconds and you’ve already lost more than twenty-five percent of your visitors.

That’s a huge number and a very big loss. Imagine how much money is that if all of those people were to buy your product. Not to mention the revenue you get from the ads themselves if those people just wandered around your website. The bottom of the statistic states that more than sixty percent of your visitors will close the site before it loads if it takes more than five seconds. Another twenty-five percent say that visiting your website from a mobile device should also not be an excuse for it loading sluggishly. There are many SEO experts and companies that you can hire to fix all of these problems for you, and it’s a really worthy investment as well. However, if you happen to live in Cleveland, Ohio there are plenty of companies to choose from, such as Bright Speed Media, to name one.

Your customers are all that you got, and you should give the best in order to ensure they have a great experience while visiting your site. Even if they don’t end up buying anything if they were satisfied with everything else they’re most likely to recommend it to their friend or someone else they know. You don’t want to be known as “the brand with that slowest website in the world.”

A very useful tip for design is to always think like the customer when you open your website. If you have a lot of things that are misleading and each link you click on takes you somewhere else, your website is not optimized well. When a customer visits your website they want to know the most important information about your product without wasting any time playing hide-n-seek. Make sure you display the names of your products and their price on the surface of your website.
