Jennifer Garner is one of those actresses that I love inexplicably insofar as I have literally never seen any film or TV show she has ever been in. (In my defense, I am easily bored and I feel like Jennifer Garner might actually be a little boring, not that there is anything wrong with that.) Given that all I really know of her is that she’s pretty, has adorable children, and seems very sweet, I like Jennifer on that basis. The other day, however, I came upon the trailer for “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” while watching “Hollywood Exes” (no shame), and I know it’s a children’s movie and all but I got a little bit of eye water. Is that so wrong? Well, I’ll be seeing it. You don’t have to come.
Anyway, I think this beauty look from the film’s premiere in Hollywood is one of the Jennifer’s prettiest ever — I mean, she’s glowing! I have very similar coloring to hers, except my hair is darker, and I know how challenging it can be to pull off a nude lip on an ivory (peaches n’ cream, baby) complexion. Jennifer does it flawlessly in a shade that contains enough pink to not wash out her fair skin (I want to know the exact lipstick so I can buy it!), and the smoked-out eye makeup is perfect: it isn’t harsh or severe like a darker, more defined eye tends to be, but a steely glimmer is enough to draw attention upward and balance out the pale lip. The only thing that’s missing? I wish her makeup artist had filled in her brows a bit more but, that nitpicky qualm aside, she looks stunning.
