1.    The Tanneries in Fez

The Imperial city of Fez is an ancient city full of history and culture. What Fez offers to Morocco is huge, but it is nothing compared to what else Morocco has to offer. Fez is famous for its leather productions and leather products. While in Fez, you must explore the old medina and explore the leather bazaar. If you can manage to position yourself someplace higher, you will see a sight like no other. The many different dyes that are used to give the color of the skins while they are laid out to dry in the sunshine can bring an overwhelming smell, but it is still a sight to be seen none the less. The Tanneries in the old medina in Fez should be the first place to go if you choose to visit this ancient Imperial city.
