The London based startup company 3nder, pronounced “Thrinder” has raised $500,000 in seed capital from a pair of unnamed investors.
Since 3nder’s mid-2014 launch, nearly 1 million users have downloaded the iOS app in search of more alternative hookup choices.
The money will help improve the app’s capabilities (viagra not included) and also allow for marketing campaigns to begin.
Most importantly, the app is for all sexualities, not just Hollywood style heteronormative bullshit. The app caters to all: straight, bisexual, gay, poly or pansexual. However, nearly a third of the accounts created on 3nder are couples, and most are millennials, according to its CEO Dimo Trifonov.
This is good news for folks who want to seek out sexual relationships outside of the norm.
