It was Selena’s 26th birthday that she spent with her friends and family, and she decided to add photos to Instagram. That post needed only 13 minutes to amass 1 million likes which is just insane. Imagine, one million people liked her images in only 13 minutes.

Previous record was held by Beyonce that managed to gather the same number of likes but in 23 minutes. We are not sure if anyone will be able to break this record or if it will be there for quite some time.

At the moment, her post is at more than 8 million likes and about 110k of comments and still going strong. Most of her announcements gather from 3 to 7 million likes, but this one was special. With a total of 139 million followers, it is just crazy how popular this girl is. On the other hand, she deserves it.
