When the founder of this company, Dean Bernand made his regular visits to church in Knightsbridge, London, he would often stop to admire the luxury of the area. Home to some of Britain’s wealthiest and most influential people, this place is where the magnificence is on full display, and the founder of Bernand London soaked it all in. That was back in 2016 and years since then, Dean’s vision has been expanded by those regular visits.
While having breakfast at one of the popular cafe’s on Brompton road, Dean noticed a pattern. Every hand that was holding a cup of coffee or a fork, was decorated by a Swiss watch, each more beautiful than the last one. This image stuck with Dean and it made him realize that he wanted to help others to get a piece of what these wealthy people had.
Passionate about making watches and about e-commerce, Dean has launched his own brand, and in time turned it into something that is now known as the Knightsbridge Collections. This collection stands for affordable luxury, timeless timepieces that everyone can cherish.

The Knightsbridge Collection
This collection of watches was inspired by the wealthy London district. It consists of six pieces of watches, named after roads and landmarks in the Knightsbridge area. The watches are built Switzerland and they all feature an open heart design, revealing the moving parts inside. This collection is powered by the Swiss Sellita SW200 Mechanical movement, which is known for being precise and reliable. The complex design consists of 26 jewels and benefits from a 36-hour power reserve. So, let’s take a look at the watches in this beautiful collection:
- Brompton – this particular watch got its name after the infamous Brompton Road, that is located in Knightsbridge and is home of Harrods, as well as some of London’s most iconic 5-star hotels.
- Grosvenor – this beautifully designed watch is named after the Grosvenor, a road running from Hyde Park alongside the Buckingham Palace Gardens.
- Cumberland – this watch got his name after the landmark Cumberland Gate. This landmark was originally installed as an entrance into the Buckingham Palace. Before it was relocated and renamed, it was known by its popular name, the Marble Arch.
- Belgrave – named after one of London’s most expensive addresses, the Belgrave Square is the home to many of the world’s embassies, including the embassies of Portugal, Spain, Germany, Ghana, Turkey, and many more.
- Montpelier – located a few meters away for the Harrods, this particular watch was named after one of Knightsbridge’s most exclusive residences.
- Rutland – this magnificent watch was named after the Rutland Gate, which is located neat the Kensington Palace.
The Knightsbridge Collection will be launched in Spring 2019. This collection will initially be launched on Kickstarter, where customers will be able to get up to 50 percent off the future retail price of £995 GBP or $1300.
