Donald Trump is a very controversial character, and it seems that everything he does with women is just generally scary and creepy. He has tried to find his way into Princess Diana’s life, and even after she died, he made some comments about her that weren’t very appropriate.

Free membership to Mar-a-Lago
Donald Trump was married to Marla Maples in 1995, and Princess Diana was seeing billionaire Theodore Forstmann. In that year, a dinner in Manhattan was honoring Diana with the United Cerebral Palsy Humanitarian of the Year Award. She went to dinner with Forstmann, and Trump was also attending the event. He didn’t care that she was with someone else at that moment, and he made a move on her by offering her a free membership to his prestigious Florida golf club, Mar-a-Lago. Princess Diana wasn’t interested.
Sending flowers
That also didn’t stop Trump. BBC TV presenter, Selina Scott said in 2015 to The Sun that Trump “bombarded [Diana] at Kensington Palace with massive bouquets of flowers, each worth hundreds of pounds.” She revealed that that gave Princess Diana “the creeps.”
“As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do,” Scott shared. “It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her.”
Trump thinks he could have slept with her
Not long after Princess Diana passed away in 1997, Donald Trump appeared on The Howard Stern Show. When Stern asked him, “You could’ve gotten her, right? You could’ve nailed her,” Trump’s answer was, “I think I could have.”
HIV test
Like that inappropriate comment wasn’t enough, he managed to make things even worse. He tried to joke about how he would have given Diana an HIV test before they slept together. Stern went along with the joke, saying, “Hey Lady Di, would you go to the doctor?” to which Trump said back, “Go back over to my Lexus because I have a new doctor. We wanna give you a little check-up.”
List of women he would have sex with
When he appeared again on The Howard Stern Show in 2000, he again talked about the late princess. She was on a list of “top 10 women he’d like to sleep with.” Marie Claire stated how he would have sex with her “without even hesitation,” stating, “she was crazy, but those are minor details.” “I tell you what,” Trump continued, “I think she’s magnificent. Lady Di was truly a woman with great beauty. I’ve seen her a couple of times. She was really beautiful, and people didn’t realize that beautiful. She was supermodel beautiful. She had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin, the whole thing.”
The only regret
“I only have one regret in the women department — that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer,” he wrote in his 1997 book, The Art of the Comeback. “I met her on a number of occasions. I couldn’t help but notice how she moved people. She lit up the room with her charm, her presence. She was a genuine princess — a dream lady.”
Denying everything
Donald Trump has denied everything he said about Princess Diana in 2016. In an interview with Piers Morgan, he commented on the authenticity of his romantic interest in her, saying, “Totally false. It was so false.”
