Joy-Anna Duggar is the fifth daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, ninth of 19 children the couple has. Joy-Anna has an amazing singing voice, and she sometimes sings for the church. First meeting
In an episode of Counting On, Joy-Anna said how the two met when they were just kids. She was 5, and Austin was 8 at the time. She also said how she didn’t like him when she first met him. “Yeah, I didn’t think much about him.” But that changed, and Joy-Anna said how his “adventurous spirit” made her fall in love with him.

Duggars aren’t like many of the regular people. They call dating ‘’courting.’’ During courting, there is physical contact allowed. She turned to her sisters to help her with her courting situation. “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special. Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.”

Before she gave birth to Gideon, she made a video of her house, which fans soon noticed as a messy. They said how the nursery seemed like a ‘’storage room’’ and despite the fact that Joy-Anna said that they were working on the house, the fans still criticized her for not being clean.

Duggar family has a lot of rules. One of them is that the ladies in the family are supposed to wear something that is making them more feminine and modest, Michelle Duggar revealed in a blog post for TLC, “I really should be defining who I am as a woman by choosing to wear dresses and skirts.” However, Joy-Anna and her siblings are breaking this rule. In one of the videos of Joy-Anna and her husband Austin on their honeymoon, you could clearly see that Joy-Anna is wearing ski pants.
