Last night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Tidal threw their first concert with a slew of big names performing — Jay Z, Nick Jonas, Usher, T.I., and, of course, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj. The latter two ladies dominated their own sets, but it was when they took the stage together to perform “Feelin’ Myself” live for the first time that the crowd really lost its collective shit. The dance battles! The outfits! The pussy patting! I saw someone on Twitter call this duo “Beynika” and it just delights me to see our culture revering female friendships with the obsessive enthusiasm typically reserved for romantic couples. Watch their performance above before it gets taken down and we have to wait for Tidal to put it up on their site, womp womp.
