Regular exercise is crucial in the times we are living at. It benefits your mental and physical health, and you are much more eager to go on with your daily routine once you are done with a workout. And it doesn’t matter what type of exercise you enjoy – whether its cardio, yoga, shooting the ball or weightlifting, everything is good. Just be sure to have a figured out program and stick to it.

The thing at least a large percentage of people who love weightlifting tend to forget is legs. And then we end up with multiple upper-body Supermans on the street that have chicken legs. It is neither healthy or sexy to leave your legs behind so devote the equal time if not the same that you would devote to your chest workouts. Now, as we all know, whether you are a man or a woman squats are the best exercise for legs. There are different types, and squats work your quadriceps, glutes as well as your butt. Though the regular squats are the best it can get, some enjoy using a hack squat machine. It is a machine made for people who want to push weights with their legs, but with a lower chance of injury than normal squats with weights would usually carry. You put your feet on a plate, adjust your seat and start working out. It is that simple.

Now, as the offer is quite wide let’s see what are the best hack squat machines currently on the market!

The Best Hack Squat Machines Out There

  1. Body-Solid GLPH1100. This one is certainly the best hack squat machine when it comes to fitting everyone’s needs. First of all, it is basically a combination of a leg press and a regular hack squat machine. Your joints are under lower pressure, and it is easy maintaining your posture. Along with that, the seat can be adjusted to almost any height, and it is pretty wide, so any type of person can exercise on this machine. It is pretty high-quality having a mainframe that is made out of steel, and a feet platform with the classic diamond scheme. Also, the quad track roller system makes the platform run smoothly, so the chances of an injury are really low, and the three lock-out positions allow anyone to sit on the machine without worrying about the experience. As of the cons, it is pretty tough to assembly, and some users were saying that there were missing parts. Along with that, it is not the cheapest machine coming at $1,500. Still, if you as a gym owner would ask us, we would absolutely recommend it as it covers everything a hack squat machine should!
  2. Body-Solid G10B-LP. This one coming with a lifetime warranty is again a great combo machine coming from body-solid. It is sure to work out all areas of your legs from quads and glutes to calves, and with lumbar support, it includes you are going to feel like you are on the beach. Also, it has a high-tech Bi-angular system which might not be that easy to assemble, but it makes you feel much safer. And the DuraFirm padding is really comfortable. The price is a staggering $3,000, but if you own a gym, it will certainly yield a profit.
  3. Powertec Fitness Leg Press. Though by definition, not a hack squat machine it still good for doing the same, especially if you add the Olympic plates to it. It runs smoothly, and this machine seems pretty durable as well, and the assembling is much easier than of the previous two. Also, anyone can fit into it, and with the capacity of over 1,000 pounds for your load, you are sure to break your limits. The price is much less than the previous two, so go and check it out (it varies on different websites, but it is really reasonable).
  4. Bodycraft F660. This one that looks like it just came out of an industrial factory is a beast. Again including both the leg press and hack squat option, it is the best for people who want a high-quality machine at their home. It costs $2,000, but it is sure to last you a lifetime if you use it in the right way. Convenient at the size of 39x79x50 inches, and made out of steel it is pretty easy to assemble. Also, it is ergonomic, and the seat can be easily adjusted. The only con is that if you are under 5.2 feet, you can’t get the full squat. Still, a great pick for all of you out there creating your home gym!
  5. York ST Power Front Squat. Though the name proclaims that it is only for the front squat, it is excellent for the hack squats as well. Good for the gym and your home, you can add Olympic plates to it as well which most pro lifters love. One of the best hack squat machines out there offers multiple foot-positions and programs, and the footplate is non-skid, so the chances of injury are much lower. Problems are it is kind of big, and not that easy to assemble (the instructions are not the clearest). But, for $1,700 it is a pretty good bargain!
