Currently, Kate Middleton and Prince William live at Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace with their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. We got to see how their home looks like when Michelle and Barack Obama visited them in 2016. Kate Middleton has decorated their common area all in neutral tones, with candles, flowers and framed pictures. We didn’t get to see what their bedrooms look like, but we know that Kate Middleton decorated Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s bedroom with IKEA furniture.
The reason behind this
When Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the National Museum of Architecture and Design in Stockholm in 2018, they shared with Marcus Engman, IKEA’s Head of Design that they used IKEA furniture to decorate Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s bedrooms. Engman said, “I’m proud that we can suit everybody. That’s what we want IKEA to be – for the many people of the world, both royalty and ordinary people.” According to IKEA, kids are the most important thing on this planet. The reason why Kate chose IKEA is probably that, besides their beauty, the price is pretty affordable. Kids grow fast, and you have to replace their beds and chairs as they grow, and affordable furniture like IKEA’s is the perfect thing for that.

Princess Charlotte’s bedroom
We don’t know all the things Princess Charlotte has in her room, but we can speculate. She probably has the MAMMUT chair and table which are playful and implicative of Disney. She most likely has the a FLISAT dollhouse that can also be installed on a shelf to free up more room for playing. Her favorite color is pink, and her room is most probably all in pink color.
