Even though he told the Parade magazine that he has several favorite episodes, the best one is titled “Truth or Consequences” and it is the first episode of season 7. He liked it so much because it gives viewers a review of the background of all the characters.

Why Weatherly left NCIS

Michael started thinking about leaving the show after the actress Cote de Pablo decided to do so. However, he didn’t want to rush this decision.

After he left NCIS, he acted in the CBS legal drama called Bull. The reason for this is that he wanted to do something new and different. He said that he was burnt out by NCIS and that he was ready for new challenges.

Although Michael needed this change, he knew that many people would have a problem accepting his decision.

“I was realistic enough to know that initially no one would believe that I was leaving,” Weatherly said. “Because what maniac would leave the No. 1 show in the world in total viewers? But I am that maniac.”
