There is no doubt that life is marvelous in all its manifestations but we all know that it can also be brutal and highly challenging. Life can slap you in the face, hard. What’s worse is that you can’t find a why. Why did it happen? Why me? When it comes to health this cruel of life can be even harder to accept and cope with. But well, with age and experience we as humans learn to see the silver lining and lessons challenges bring with them. We might learn to appreciate every second we are gifted with, we might learn that relationships and love are far superior to any possession and many other things. Today we narrate the story of Naor Yazdan, a young fitness enthusiast from Israel whose life was jeopardized and yet he managed to come out on top. His passion for life and fitness allowed him to overcome terrible hurdles and made him the man he is today.
Maintaining a strict active lifestyle can be a challenge for many. Sometimes it starts off strong only to end after some time and only to be picked back up weeks or even months after. In order to maintain an ongoing fitness regimen, it takes determination, dedication, and focus. That itself can be a challenge especially taking into account the daily demands and responsibilities in one’s day to day schedule. But what happens when you throw health complications into the mix? That is a question that Naor Yazdan who is an Israel fitness model, trainer, and real-estate entrepreneur, can answer rather well.
Yazdan didn’t grow up following a particularly active lifestyle. He was naturally skinny and on the scrawny side which was a big insecurity of his. It didn’t help that bullies liked to target his aesthetic in that regard either. Growing up in Israel, at age 18, he did what many of his peers were expected to do, he was enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces. It was then that his active lifestyle really took off. It all started as a job requirement but it continued as a hobby and passion. Yazdan was no longer the scrawny boy he once saw reflecting back at him in the mirror. His aesthetic now boasted a more muscular build.
Seeing as upholding an athletic and fitness lifestyle felt so true and natural to him, Yazdan decided to make the most out of the opportunities it could present to him. He engaged in a social media presence where he rapidly began to grow an audience and follower base that admired his physique and fitness gains. People wanted to know the secrets behind it all. What did it really entail to look like Yazdan? Luckily for them, Yazdan was ready to provide all the answers as he started to build a clientele after receiving certification to be a personal fitness trainer from Wingate Sports Academy. Since, he has trained thousands of clients and counting all around the globe, thanks to the new technologies and the fast expansion of the “online fitness adoption” we are seeing before our eyes. Naor wakes up every day with the burning fire inside of him to be his best self and help as many individuals as possible to become their best selves as well.
Yazdan was on an elevator ride that seemed to just go up. However, at age 28, Yazdan received some devastating news. He was informed by medical personnel that he was in need of a heart valve replacement surgery. That was a moment in his upward spiral where things really seemed to stop. Suddenly, the elevator halted and he wasn’t going up. He was frozen in place. What would this mean for everything he had strived, built, and worked for? Understandably, Yazdan worried what the news meant for him and his budding career. Surely it was over … or was it? To Yazdan’s great relief and delight, that was not the end. In fact, it was only the beginning. Yazdan managed to make an impressive recovery. It was not easy but before he knew it, Yazdan was back in the ball game and in the swing of things. Today, Yazdan continues to pick up where he left off and continues to build his athletic empire. What a lesson from this young man. Never let challenges destroy your willingness to manifest your full potential. Never let circumstances dictate your present and future. Accept what life throws at you as a lesson to learn. Something good, eventually, will arise from them.
Regardless of whatever one’s situation may be, a fitness regimen is not necessarily easy. However, throwing health complications into the mix surely switches up the gears and makes things a bit more difficult. However, it is not an end sentence. Life goes on. After every stormy night there is a new sunrise. After every troubled day, there is a peaceful night. If humans made it for hundreds of thousands of years on this planet, always adapting to new environments, circumstances, challenges and so on, well, it shows what we are capable of. We often forget to look at the bigger picture, we often get lost in the tiny details of the negative circumstance we are dealing with at the moment but if we zoom out just a little bit we will notice how blessed we are. Yes, all of us.
If Yazdan could do it, surely any of us can too. To keep up with Naor Yazdan and his fitness accomplishments, follow his social media handles: Instagram and Facebook.
