Oh boy, it happened again didn’t it? You lost your Facebook password, and now you can’t log in to your account. We’ll did you know that everyone has gone through that at least once in their lives. Losing your Facebook password is nothing short of frustration. However, the stress that comes with it can be considered as unnecessary. Because it happens a lot, Facebook makes it very easy for you to recover your password. Although you can’t actually recover your password, you can very easily get a new one. In this short and informative article, we are going to tell you what to do when you lose your Facebook password.
There are three main methods you can use to “recover” your lost Facebook password. Because passwords are hidden from you and everyone around you, forgetting them can be a very honest thing to do.
Method #1
The first method involves you getting it back through your email address. The email address in question is your default email for Facebook and messenger. What you need to do here is to go over to Facebook from eighter your personal desktop computer or laptop, through eighter Google Chrome or any other browser and click on the “forgot password” under the login section. From here you will be required to enter your username so that Facebook can verify that you are the owner of that account.
From all the available guides on how to hack Facebook, actually hacking into someone else’s Facebook account is more complicated than you might think. This guide is going to teach you how to hack your own Facebook account in order to retrieve your lost password.
Once you click on “forgot password” and you’ve entered your current email ID, next up is to choose the option in which you wish to retrieve your password. For the sake of it, you will click on the first one that says “reset your password using your email address.”
Click on continue, and a pop=up message will appear asking you to log in to your current email address where they will send you a link. Click on the link in order to reset your password and add in a new one. When entering the new password, you cannot enter your previous one.
Method #2
The second method of recovering your lost Facebook password is to do it using a recovery email. Follow the previous steps until you get to the point where Facebook asks you how to reset your password. Then, choose the second option which states “email me a link to reset my password”. Facebook would then email you a specific 6 digit code to your recovery email address, where you will need to enter in the designated field. Enter the code, click on change password, and add a new password.
Method #3
The third and last method of retrieving your lost Facebook password is to reset your password by using your phone number. In order to use this method, you would’ve needed to previously have it added. Follow the same steps until you reach the section where Facebook asks you how you wish to have your password reset. Then, choose the third option which goes somewhere in the lines of “get a code from my smartphone.”
Enter your phone number in the designated area, and a code will be sent to your smartphone. Fill in the code in the designated area and add a new password.
When adding a new password, make sure to have it written somewhere, so you don’t have to go through the same hassle. One way to have full control of your account is to use the Facebook hack tool Guestspy.
