She died too soon

It looked like time had stopped moving when the news of her death got out interrupted TV shows all over the world. She died on August 30, 1997, she was together with her boyfriend, an Egyptian billionaire named Dodi Fayed, the couple had returned from vacation not long before that accident.

The couple spent some time together after returning. The paparazzi were on the couple’s tail the whole time and had been more aggressive than ever before. They were sitting in the back seat of their while their chauffer was driving and trying to avoid he paparazzi who were surrounding the car. Just after that they entered the Pont de l’Alma tunnel and that’s where the accident happened, killing two of the four people in the car.

When the ambulance arrived Diana and her bodyguard were still alive, but after a couple of hours had passed she was declared dead. After an investigation the police said that the driver’s blood alcohol was way over the legal limit and that only the driver was wearing a seatbelt. The producer said fans would see Princess Diana in Season 3

The creator of The Crown, Peter Morgan gave a statement to People Magazine. He talked about the fact that I may take a couple of years for fans to see Princess Diana on the show. But Peter Morgan denied that and said that fans would get the chance to see her much sooner than that.

Even though the show’s timeline starts in the 40s, Morgan told us that there would probably be a time jump to the 70s and 80s just as the romance between Prince Charles and Princess Diana was blossoming. Which means that fans would see the princess at the end of season 3.

Will fans of “The Crown” get what they expect in season 3?

Netflix hasn’t yet said anything official about the release date of season 3, but the lead actress of The Crown said that they had just finished shooting. But this still doesn’t mean we’re close to seeing season 3 on our TVs.

It is thought that season 3 will focus on the mid-60s to late 70s which means that fans won’t get the chance to see Diana this season but will have to wait for season 4.
