Our faces can feel like the most important parts of our bodies sometimes. It is literally the first thing that we present to the world and the people focus on it most of the time. If we feel self-conscious about any aspect of our faces, it can lead to dire consequences. Some of these dire consequences could lead to low self-esteem, which in turn can then lead to depression, negative body issues and adverse mental health. It may sound extreme but in some intense cases, being simply unhappy with your face can cause even more worrying concerns within your mental and physical wellbeing.

One common feature that most people find themselves unhappy with is the chin. Or more accurately, the amount of loose and excess fat that can generate around the chin. This problem is otherwise known as a double chin. While they are absolutely nothing to feel badly about, some people really do worry about their double chins. They become so demoralised whenever they see themselves that they avoid even having photographs taken from a certain in case it shows. If you find yourself relating to this common issue, note that there is no need to worry.

Some people might think that there is absolutely nothing to be done about a large or double chin. It is part of our face and therefore we cannot remove it, forcing us to live with an aspect of our body that we do not like. However, there is in all actuality, a completely safe and available way to get rid of your double chin. This solution, while not particularly well known outside of the cosmetic beauty circles is called CoolSculpting.

CoolSculpting is basically the freezing of underlying fat cells within the skin, providing a perfect treatment of body contouring as it reduces fat in the targeted areas. This is a nonsurgical, relatively painless treatment that is highly regarded by millions of patients all across the globe.

CoolSculpting was invented to treat those stubborn pockets of fat that most people will experience in their lifetimes. Sometimes it does not matter how hard we try, these pockets of fat will simply not go away, no matter how hard we may exercise or diet. This is why so many people turn to CoolSculpting, to finally remove the fact that they cannot themselves. This is especially true for double chins. That is actually why the CoolMini treatment was invented, to tackle the smaller body parts.

For the chin only, the procedure will take about thirty-five minutes. This also means that there will be a very limited recovery time after the treatment, as another added incentive. You may carry on about your daily life and usual activities pretty much straight after the procedure. There are quite encouraging statistics regarding double chin treatments: average results are a staggering twenty to eighty percent reduction of fat after a single dosage of treatments in the targeted area.

To put you at ease about the whole CoolSculpting double chin procedure, the specialist will have a hand-held applicator that will be used during the treatment. The device has been likened to a vacuum cleaner detachable nozzle. Hopefully, once you know about the equipment it will feel less daunting to you before the treatments. The doctor or CoolSculpting specialist will then apply a gel pad and applicator to your skin. The applicator is there to deploy the controlled cooling substance to your chin.

This device will move over your skin, applying a light suction and cooling sensation. This may produce a slightly uncomfortable sensation of pulling and pinching across the skin of your chin but generally speaking, this is not a specifically painful process. The provider will generally massage and soothe your skin straight after the treatment, which will help to ease the uncomfortable feelings after the procedure. This helps the body absorb the now destroyed fat cells, which is a win for every aspect of the situation.

As already mentioned, this treatment will take about thirty-five minutes at most. Most specialists will also allow you to read or listen to music during the treatments.
