Hot and humid days can be quite unbearable throughout the summer season. It is even impossible to get a good night’s sleep because the air is so hot and stale. Fortunately, there are multiple solutions for this kind of problem. Usually, most people install an air conditioning unit. But, there are multiple disadvantages to buying and installing an AC unit. They are both very expensive to buy and to maintain, they look out of place and they are very loud. However, there is an alternative. To savor the style of your bedroom, you can get a ceiling fan.
Of course, a ceiling fan will never be able to cool the air in your bedroom, but by helping it circulate, it can make the stay in your bedroom a little bit more pleasant. Also, they are a unique visual addition to any room.
There really is no reason why you should not get one. But, choosing the right ceiling fan might be a little bit difficult. To help you with that, I decided to write this 2021 buying guide to ensure that you will buy the best fan for your bedroom.
1. HUNTER – (53091) 52” with LED Light and Pull Chain Control
For those that are looking for that traditional and classic design of a ceiling fan, this product from Hunter is the one you should go for.
One of the reasons why you should consider getting this one is because it is not expensive at all. The base price is around $120, but you might be able to grab it for even less than that. If you managed to run into a discount, it could be well under $100.
The color of this ceiling fan is “New Bronze” which is a bit specific, but I believe that it can fit in almost every bedroom. The blade material is wood and the base is made out of steel.
Keep in mind, before you order this one, you will have to assemble it by yourself. Although, there is an instruction manual and it is pretty easy to assemble, so I do not think you will have a lot of trouble.
One of the main reasons why it is so easy to install is because all of the controls are on the pull chain. With it, you turn it on or off, control the speed, and the LED light bulbs.
2. WAC Lighting – Smart Home Compatible 54″ Ceiling Fan with Remote

Not only does the smart fan look pretty good, but it is also high-performance. So, if it gets too hot inside of your bedroom, make sure to ramp up to speed.
I’m not done because there are still some interesting features. By downloading the application from the company, you can easily control the speed of the ceiling fan with your phone. The application provides you with tons of different settings, smart features, and things like that.

3. Hunter – 23763 52” Outdoor Ceiling Fan
This ceiling fan from Hunter is advertised for outdoor use, but this product looks so good I believe it belongs in the bedroom. On it, there are 52” span PVC blades, but they come with a wooden-like finish. By combining that would not finish with the matte black on the base, it looks amazing.
Keep in mind, this one is a little bit expensive. The previous one from Hunter was $120 and this one is $500. Yes, there is a reason why it is so much more expensive. The performance is pretty impressive with 4620 CFM on average.
There is also a lifetime motor warranty and one year warranty for parts and electronics. So, if you have any issue with the motor, you can always have it replaced.
If the matter black color does not work for you, you can switch to the chestnut brown base finish. And, there is also a completely white option if you do not like the wooden design.
4. Honeywell – 50614-01 Carnegie
This fan coming from Honeywell has a 52-inch blade span, it is meant for indoor use and the blades are made out of rustic barnwood. The base is also matte black which is always nice to see. If you do not like the matte black design, there is a more unique alternative. A copper-colored base.
Beneath the matte black or copper base, there is a light fixture that is rated for 25,000 hours lifespan. That is pretty good.
Currently, this product is priced at around $180. Not cheap, but not too expensive either.
Honeywell also boasts a high-performance reversible motor with silent running. If you are the type of person that can’t sleep with a loud background/hum noise, this is the fan that you should consider installing in your bedroom.
There are probably dozens of other ceiling fans that could be put on this list, but I believe that these four I mentioned have a great balance between value, performance, and aesthetics. Whichever of these you get, you will not be disappointed.
