Caroline Dhavernas is born on May 15th, 1978, in Montreal, Canada. She is born in a family from parents Sebastien and Michele Deslauriers and has a sister Gabrielle. She has family roots from France. However, she is born and raised in Canada. Ever since she was a little girl, Caroline liked performance and acting, mainly because she comes from an artistic family, and her both parents are actors. As follows, parents assigned her to the local theatre school, where she learned the basics of acting. By the time when she was twelve years old, Caroline got her first acting role in the movie Comme un Voleur (1990). Furthermore, when she graduated from the University of Montreal, Caroline started to work for TV houses, and during that time, she dubbed voices for numerous TV shows.

Moreover, her severe first engagement as a television actress started when she got the leading role in the movie The Marilyn Bell Story (1999), where she portrayed professional swimmer Marilyn Bell, who was the first woman and swimmer to cross 32-mile Ontario Lake in 1954. However, one project in which Caroline is very proud of is her role in historical drama Passchendaele, which tells a story about Canadian history and the battle for independence.
