Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to a new home, Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate, originally for privacy reasons. But in the very beginning, they encountered fewer problems that they did not expect. Their new home is not secured in the way they hoped.
A new home is located near Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth spends most of her time. A young couple wanted to raise their children away from the so-called “fishbowl” of Kensington Palace.
Frogmore Cottage location?
Frogmore Cottage is located not too far from the Windsor Great Park and sits on the Windsor Estate. Those passing by have a direct view of Harry and Meghan new house. This is not the first problem of lack of privacy for Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s.
Privacy as one of the primary things for the royal family
If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to raise children outside of public, they have to separate their privacy from the public. They certainly would not be happy that their children run through the courtyard that is right in front of the audience!
Prince William and Kate Middleton had the same home privacy issue. Allegedly, according to reports, they had back of the yard covered with hundreds of trees. To have as much privacy as possible, they planted 600 laurel trees planted 18-inches apart. That row is 950 feet long and three feet tall. Apparently, for this tree planting, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s paid under $20,000.
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s privacy plan
Prince Harry and Meghan, seeing how William and Kate managed their privacy, decided to start their planting program. They decided to plant large trees in the “holes” so that people walking around can’t spot Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in their private lives.
