East or west home is the best and nothing makes a home better than when it’s clean, organized and safe. Having a clean home comes with a lot of benefits. Here are five benefits of cleaning home that we should all think about:

Keeping Rodents Away

Rodents such as rats and mice are carriers of different types of pathogens that cause disease and illnesses. These animals find refuge in houses that are usually dirty and untidy where they easily get leftovers, hide from extreme outdoor weather conditions, and reproduce. To keep them away, ensure that the lawn grass around the house is always cut short to eliminate possible hideouts. Rodents are known to hide in bedrooms and kitchens where there are minimal movement and sufficient food; Keep it clean, and you will have the animals under your control.

Minimized Injuries

Children are naturally carefree, and a disorganized home makes them vulnerable to injuries caused by misplaced tools, slippery floors, broken glasses, and misplaced utensils. A clean well-organized house will eliminate all these hazards and keep everyone safe. Collecting broken glasses to the dustbin for proper disposal and making sure all the used utensils lying in the sitting room or dining room are collected to the kitchen for cleaning will reduce chances of inflicting injuries to the kids.

Broken taps and spilt water on the floor will reduce the chances of accidentally falling while in the bathroom or when walking around the house. slippery floors have been documented to cause sudden injuries or death particularly when the victim falls from behind. Save yourself the trouble and ensure that every part of the floor is always dry.

Eliminating Parasitic Household Insects

Mosquitos, Cockroaches, flea, bedbugs, and lice spread are the dangerous carriers of diseases within households. Mosquitoes cause Malaria which is the leading cause of death in children and pregnant women, while cockroaches spread cholera which spreads and kills amazingly fast. Simply Maid says clearing stagnant water will end breeding grounds for mosquitoes in the house, while good kitchen hygiene will reduce the number of cockroaches.

UTI Infection

According to research, a lot of women have reported at least one incident of Urinary tract infection in their lifetime. It is a type of pathogenic infection particularly affecting the urinary system. Maintenance and proper cleaning of toilets and bathrooms will help reduce incidences of the infection thereby keeping women and girl’s health on the check.

Emergency

Cleaning the house and keeping it in order enables easy access to help in case of emergency. Fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and weapons should be kept safe and within vicinity should they be needed. Preparedness could save your whole house from getting burnt to the ashes in case of fire outbreaks, having first aid kit within reach could save a life and finally, keeping weapons safe away from children could keep them safe just like it would while access the weapon on time to fight off invaders.

Psychologically Healthy

Lastly, cleaning your house cultivates a responsible culture in children. They learn good or bad behavior from their parents or peers and raising kids who cannot take care of their homes is just as dangerous as encouraging deviance and criminality within the house. To my opinion, a home makes or breaks a personality so getting things in order breeds orderly and stable homes.
