Rumors have been swirling that Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande are feuding. However, it looks like that’s a bogus claim by a tabloid, called Life & Style. The latest issue of Life & Style came with a title which said ‘Ariana vs. Taylor: Secret Catfight.’
To make things even more dramatic, the article also featured a source saying ‘Taylor has been watching Ariana’s massive success over the past year, and she can’t help but feel jealous. Now she’s plotting to get back on top.’
Taylor Swift has recently released a new song titled ‘ME!’ The song was released on April 26 and it features Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco. This is the leading song on Taylor’s upcoming seventh studio album.

However, according to the tabloid, the reason to release this song is mainly to outshine Ariana Grande. The source also claims that even though Taylor had been ‘laying low’ in order to please Joe Alwyn, her boyfriend, she became worried that maybe people have started to forget her. Moreover, ‘She sees other likes Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato stepping back from their careers for health reasons and losing fans in the process, and that scares her,’ claims the source for the outlet.
The source claims that due to Ariana’s popularity, Taylor feels threatened and wants to get back in the spotlight. As both singers share many fans, Taylor considers Ariana to be her direct competition.

The outlet makes the article truly sensational, but that doesn’t cover the fact that the story is completely false. Taylor Swift releases new music only because she is a musician and that’s what she does, not because of the competition.
The singer laughed off the tabloid’s ridiculous story. In fact, we are certain that the two singers are in no feud and there is no jealousy between them. This is yet another false story to come from this tabloid, which was last year busted for another false story. Namely, the same outlet published an article claiming that Swift was secretly engaged to Alwyn and planning a wedding. Moreover, the same tabloid claimed that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were having a baby together. However, the couple broke up soon after the story came out.
