Megyn Kelly, you’re all right.
Say what you will about Fox News (which hopefully is very little, because my god, talk about bottling up the worst conservative arguments into one place and giving them a megaphone), one thing is true: their own Megyn Kelly, right-leaning host of “The Kelly File,” is kind of a bad ass. Despite being a conservative talking head, she’s been making waves for regularly straying from the Fox party line, particularly when it comes to feminism and women’s rights. The New York Times already dubbed the Kelly renaissance a “Megyn moment,” and she’s gaining fans across both political parties. One person who may be less of a fan now? Conservative blowhard, Mike Huckabee.
Huckabee appeared on “The Kelly File” last night and amidst his usual chattering about who knows what, probably how Beyoncé is the anti-Christ, he mentioned that he was shocked to hear women curse in a business meeting he had been in. Kelly wasn’t content to let that one sit, and admonished him with the following:
“Well, I do have some news for you before I let you go. We’re not only swearing. We’re drinking; we’re smoking; we’re having premarital sex with birth control before we go to work, and sometimes boss around a bunch of men.”
Hot. Damn. Give Megyn Kelly all the awards and free birth control, legally provided by Obamacare, that her little heart desires.
